Early election results in Detroit County indicate a significant approval for proposals related to the Detroit Zoo and local museums. The Detroit Zoo millage and funding for various museums were approved, while a proposal for Macomb County was excluded. The tight race between Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers in the US Senate election also sparked discussion. Voters in Oakland and Wayne County showed backing for museum funding proposals, leaving out Macomb County.
