Macklin Celebrini returned to the lineup and found the back of the net during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The young attacker, after being out of action, appeared in the game with another youngster Will Smith, who also featured in the NHL. Even with the defeat, the Sharks found a positive moment as Ivar Stenberg netted his first-ever professional goal in a separate game against the Boston Bruins.
